Speaking at the United Nations World Education Forum in South Korea this week, UN chief Ban Ki Moon and UNESCO boss Irina Bokova declared that globalized schools around the world need to re-shape children’s values and create “sustainable” “global citizens.” The controversial summit, which outlined what the UN described as a “roadmap for global education” through 2030 in the “Incheon Declaration,” brought together over 100 national education ministers, swarms of UN bureaucrats, globalists, educators, and other “stakeholders” from every corner of the planet. And while the UN education forum passed virtually unnoticed in the U.S. establishment media, the implications of the globalist educational scheming for Americans — and humanity more broadly — are enormous.
UN Secretary-General Ban, boldly rejecting Western notions of negative rights, declared that government education is a “right” that governments and dictators must provide, rather than a privilege. He also argued that globalist education was important to fighting “violent extremism” and to securing what the UN calls “human rights” — in reality, a list of revocable, government-granted privileges that, according to Article 29 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, may “in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.” UN “education,” Ban also declared, will lead to “world peace and development,” as well as “stability.”
Perhaps more importantly, though, it will pave the way to what Ban and dictators from around the world last year touted as a “New World Order” at a meeting of the G77 plus Communist China in Bolivia. “Education must do more than produce individuals who can read, write and count,” Ban was quoted as saying in a UN press release about the summit in Korea. “It must nurture global citizens who can rise to the challenges of the 21st century.” Indeed, everybody at the summit seemed to be in total agreement that one of the chief purposes of UN-inspired “education” must be “global citizenship” and “sustainability” indoctrination.
UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) boss Bokova, a Bulgarian Communist Party operative who is now the “frontrunner” to lead the broader UN, was also fully on board with the agenda. “We have the collective duty to empower every child and youth with the right foundations — knowledge, values and skills — to shape the future as responsible global citizens, building on the successes of the past 15 years,” she said, adding that education would “transform lives” and contribute to “breakthroughs on all the proposed sustainable development goals.” In other words, the UN — not parents, families, or communities — has the “collective duty” to shape children’s values.
After the final declaration was rubber-stamped, Bokova, a “red-diaper baby” with deep ties to the mass-murdering “People’s Republic of Bulgaria” regime, celebrated the machinations. “This Declaration is a huge step forward,” she claimed. “It reflects our determination to ensure that all children and young people gain the knowledge and skills they need to live in dignity, to reach their potential and contribute to their societies as responsible global citizens. It encourages governments to provide learning opportunities through life, so that people can continue to grow and develop. It affirms that education is the key to global peace and sustainable development.”
Among the goals outlined at the UN summit for 2030 are a series of deeply controversial points suggesting that the UN, often ridiculed as the “dictators club,” will be running the show — and not to promote proper education, but to indoctrinate humanity. “By 2030, ensure all learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including among others through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development,” reads one of the myriad “Global Targets for Education 2030.”
Other planks in the document include, like Karl Marx’s Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto, ensuring that “all girls and boys” complete government-funded primary and secondary “education.” Also by 2030, “all girls and boys” must have “access to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education.” Of course, from the Obama administration, which calls UNESCO its “global partner” in “cradle-to-career” education reform, to the UN, the push for universal government “care” of the youngest children has been accelerating. UNESCO, meanwhile, which signed an agreement on global education in 2004 with Common Core financier Bill Gates, has been pushing all national and regional governments to impose national “standards” and testing regimes on students. The effort has been wildly successful, as UNESCO boasted in a recent report.
According to the UN education summit’s website, the master plan for global education “sets a shared vision of education for the future international community.” Its five “key themes” include the “right” to government education, “equity,” “inclusion,” and “lifelong learning.” The terms sound rather harmless, of course, but digging into the actual documents put out by UNESCO and other globalist bureaucracies reveals a deeply sinister plan to re-shape the values, attitudes, and beliefs of children away from liberty, national sovereignty, Judeo-Christian values, and morality — and toward “green” and “global” citizenship.
“Global Citizenship Education (GCED), development of skills, values, and attitudes necessary to face the regional and global challenges, will be included as a method of achieving the quality education post-2015,” the World Education Forum 2015 website explains. The summit was “a milestone event” where “education leaders and stakeholders of the international community” agreed on “the new education vision and its corresponding targets.” For the first time, the statement continues, “the global education agenda will work within the overall international development framework rather than alongside it.” In other words, the broader UN agenda will be infused throughout its indoctrination programs.
To enforce its globalist education model on humanity, the “comprehensive Framework for Action” outlines ways of “implementing, coordinating, financing and monitoring post-2015 education agenda at global, regional and national levels.” For parents who thought education was a family responsibility — or at least the responsibility of the local school board, or perhaps the state, or even the unconstitutional U.S. Department of Education — that might all come as a surprise. But it should not. In fact, since 1990, the UN and its mostly autocratic member regimes have been openly plotting the new world education regime. And even before that, occultist UN official Robert Mueller, a disciple of theosophist and Lucifer Publishing Company founder Alice Bailey, had already developed the bizarre “World Core Curriculum.” He argued that it must be taught in every school in the world.
The final declaration inked in Korea this week is set to be adopted at the next dictator-dominated UNESCO “General Assembly.” The schemes will underpin the education component of the UN’s master central plan for humanity, dubbed the “Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals,” that the planetary outfit says “will be ratified” in September. Ironically, UNESCO has already let the cat out of the bag regarding its real “sustainable” so-called education intentions. “Generally, more highly educated people, who have higher incomes, consume more resources than poorly educated people, who tend to have lower incomes,” a UN “toolkit” for global “sustainable” education explains. “In this case, more education increases the threat to sustainability.” Hence the deliberate agenda to dumb down and sexualize youth worldwide, as evidenced throughout countless UNESCO documents and teacher training manuals.
UNESCO bosses have also been boasting since the would-be global education ministry was created that one of its primary purposes was to create a world society and world government based on humanism — an ideology that is inherently at odds with individual liberty and biblical religion. Beijing has taken an active interest in it, too. The most recent General Conference of UNESCO was chaired by former Beijing “education vice-minister” Hao Ping. UNESCO itself, of course, is chaired by communist Bokova, who last year appointed Peng Liyuan, wife of Communist Chinese dictator Xi Jinping, to serve as a “Special Envoy” for female education. “You are an immense role model for millions of young girls in China and beyond,” UNESCO boss Bokova told the ruthless Chinese dictator’s wife at the ceremony in Paris.
The pro-abortion UN Population Fund, a favorite of Common Core financier Bill Gates, was also involved in the UN education summit — despite being exposed in the U.S. Congress recently helping the Communist Chinese regime perpetrate forced abortions. “Together we must promote and protect every person’s right to education, and ensure that quality education reaches all, and instils values of peace, justice, human rights and gender equality,” said UNFPA boss Babatunde Osotimehin. “We are proud to have been a co-convener of the World Education Forum and pledge to take forward the new action agenda on education for all by 2030.”
The U.S. education establishment took a keen interest in the machinations, too. William Gaudelli, chair of the Department of Arts at Teachers College, Columbia University, was among those at the latest UN summit. “We need dramatic changes in education, and we need them now,” demanded Gaudelli, also a professor of education at the infamous Teachers College, home of Rockefeller-backed John Dewey, the socialist-humanist who set out to literally dumb down America using government schools so he could “fundamentally transform” the nation. Gaudelli’s panel was called “Fostering Global Citizenship Education in the Context of Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.”
For liberty and real education to survive and thrive, Americans must reject UNESCO and its radical agenda to dumb down and indoctrinate humanity — along with the Obama-backed Common Core scheme to nationalize and globalize U.S. schools. President Ronald Reagan withdrew from the UN “education” outfit due to its domination by communists, socialists, mass-murderers, criminals, tyrants, and anti-American extremists. It is time for the U.S. government to once again make a full withdrawal from UNESCO, and now, the broader UN as well. The future of America and the world depends on it.
