Talking heads in media are warning that because of events in Iraq involving the al-Qaeda spin-off group called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), petrol prices are rising and “some are predicting gas prices may rise to more than $4 a gallon.”
Some estimated that the price of gas would rise by 11cents, while others are expecting a 20 cent increase at the pump.
Tom Corsby, spokesman for AAA in the Carolinas claims that ISIS “will have an impact. The answer to how long — we have no idea at this point.”
Although the price of petrol has risen by only 4% since June 6th, this does not stop the media from instilling “the concern of uncertainty” in order to ensure that Americans fill up their gas tanks under false paranoia.
Amrite Sen, chief petrol analyst for Energy Aspects commented: “The driver [of prices] has been, what if they get to the south, which is where the bulk of Iraq’s production and exports are, and what if we see disruptions there? Seasonally we are coming to the peak demand period. We know that Libya is already off line and this is why there is such impetus for an upward movement in oil prices now.”
Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst for GasBuddy.com said: “The escalating situation in Iraq takes hold and drives crude oil and retail gasoline prices higher. While the U.S. only receives about 300,000 barrels of Iraqi crude per day, the concern is about the other 3 million or so barrels per day that Iraq pumps, which could be at risk of disruption. It’s that perceived threat that may cause the national average this week to rise 3-6 cents per gallon. The bigger picture here is that the timing of the situation in Iraq could threaten the possibility that motorists see lower prices this summer, as we had anticipated in our much earlier forecasts.”
The terrorist groups such as the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and ISIS are clearing the stage in Syria and now Iraq because of the Iran-Iraq-Syrian pipeline known as the “Friendship Pipeline” which was initiated as an accord between the 3 nations to extract natural gas to sell on European markets.
The pipeline is expected to be 3,480 miles long “running from the Iranian-Qatari South Pars / North Dome Gas-Condensate field towards Europe via Iran” to supply natural gas to Europe via Turkey.
Finishing this endeavor has been difficult because of the turmoil manufactured in the region; with Syria under attack by the FSA which are funded by the US, the UK and Saudi Arabia.
Another reason to halt this pipeline and ensure it is not realized is the Nabucco pipeline which is the current supply from Qatar and Turkey which supplies natural gas to Europe via Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Turkey.
In Iraq, Shi’ite “rulers have accused neighbors Saudi Arabia of promoting genocide by backing ISIS .
Juan Zarate, analyst for CBS News told the media al-Qaeda is influencing the group called ISIS who is made up of rebels from Syria.
Zarate said: “You do have very senior al Qaeda figures who have migrated to the Syrian conflict to provide strategic guidance and direction and to me that’s incredibly dangerous because you have operatives and strategists who have had squarely in mind to turn the attention of these groups toward the west.”
The rebels in Syria, known as the Free Syrian Army (FSA) are comprised of Salafi militants from Saudi Arabia.
These same faction of terrorists that attacked the villa where US Ambassador Stevens was murdered is in Syria fighting the proxy war for the US.
The Salafi terrorist cells are given different names depending on their location geographically (such as al-Qaeda, FSA, etc. . .) so that the idea that they are separate is purveyed to the general public. However, they are subscribing to an extreme form of Islam that is encompassing in Saudi Arabia.
The Partisans of Sharia (PoS), or Ansar al-Sharia, are directly connected to the Muslim Brotherhood who believe that those who do not adhere to Sharia law should be crucified .
Partisans or followers of the Muslim Brotherhood are tied to the Salafi version of Islam that demand complete adherence to the religion, lest they be deemed an infidel and killed.
The Salafis being used in Syria are exceptionally violent and adhere to sectarianism with complete abhorrence for the US.
This ideal is fostered because it helps to facilitate the psychological mindset necessary for manipulation.
